So, how did the first day go? Well, it wasn't too bad. The PM I was supposed to check in with is actually gone this week, so I had to wait at the security desk for a few minutes for someone to pick me up. Also, my coworker wasn't able to get in right away this morning so I didn't actually get started for about a half-hour, but other than that everything went pretty smoothly.
On the "living in Colorado Springs" side of things - it's all good. I love my apartment, it's easy to get up in the morning, I have a relatively short drive to work (10-15 min) and I'm close to one of the major roads through the Springs (Academy Drive).
Yep. I think I'm going to like it here...
