Well, this weekend has been pretty much a total failure. I thought I could get my new app "off the ground" as it were this week and made some pretty good progress with ASP.Net MVC and Fluent NHibernate. Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish by the Friday deadline, but I was hopeful to get things working by Monday.
Things aren't working.
I'm really banging my head against the whole configuration/where things go issues with NHibernate using Fluent and getting it to connect to a DB on a website. I think I've got the mapping down and I can write console/Windows apps that connect to the DB, but I'm completely at a loss how to get a web app to connect (using Fluent). Everything I used to do web-wise just connected on every page request. Yeah. Small-time stuff.
Ahh well. Time to face the music tomorrow I guess.
When I DO figure this out, I'm going to post it somewhere (well this blog, but the source I mean) so future idiots like me have someplace to look. I can't believe there are no "ASP.Net MVC/NHibernate" source apps out there. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Every "intro" app I've seen is either simple console-based "hello world" types of apps.

Chad...I hate to tell you this, but you must be speaking a foreign language, 'cause I just don't understand your blog! Wait! You probably did that on purpose, huh? In that case, good job!!! ;-) Joyce.
