Thank you for putting the smack down on this "Some programmers are 10x better" (or 20x - depending on the reports) garbage that has been making the rounds lately. Why does it seem that every programmer thinks they are that "golden programmer"?
It's like those annoying people that quote Einstein ("Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds.") Guess what? Just because you are "encountering violent opposition" doesn't mean that you are a "great spirit" or your opposition have "weak minds."
Is software development the only field where everyone thinks they are god or is this common in other professions?
